Wilma T. Prentice, 80, passed away Friday (Oct. 10, 2014) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Prentice was born on Jan. 11, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Paul and Anna Costigan.
Wilma worked as a custodian for the Wellsville Community Center for 10 years until her retirement in 2012.
Wilma is survived by a son Adam Prentice of Allentown. She was predeceased by two sons, Roy B. Prentice and William Prentice.
Wilma was an avid BINGO fan. She enjoyed working puzzles and attending any and all softball games, especially if the game involved children. She like watching boxing matches on television but most of all; she loved playing games with her grandchildren.
There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Baker-Swan Funeral Home, 3256 Riverside Drive in Wellsville with Rev. Larry Allen of the First Day Baptist Church in Richburg, officiating. Burial will take place in Whitesville Rural Cemetery.
