Nancy L. Golder,
76, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (February 2, 2013) at Jones Memorial
Hospital.
Mrs. Golder was born on July 18, 1936 in Wilkes Barre, Pa. to Blair and Ruth (Slivinske) Troxell. She was a 1954 graduate of Meyers High School in Wilkes Barre, Pa. Nancy worked in data processing at Burroughs Corporation in Rochester for 20 years until her retirement in 1985. Nancy will be sadly missed by her friends Lois Weber, Carol Weber-Ormsby, Marge Lehman, Charity McCormick, the Calladine family, Vi Maynard and Judy Stephens. She was predeceased by her sister, Jane M. Troxell. Nancy was a fun loving prankster to all her friends. She enjoyed going to casinos, watching football and loving on all her pets. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. at the Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Andover. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home immediate following the visitation with Rev. Daniel Kenyon of the Wellsville Bible Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Elan Memorial Park in Bloomsburg, Pa. Memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to SPCA Serving Allegany County, 1374 SR 19 South, Wellsville, NY 14895. |
