Baldwin, 56, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (March 18, 2014) at Jones
Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Baldwin was born on Dec. 19, 1957 in Wellsville to Lewis and Shirley (Gleason) Baldwin. On July 10, 1985, at the United Methodist Church in Wellsville, he married Roxanne L. Morris, who survives. Jim worked as a logger for Baldwin Forest Products in Bolivar from 1974 until 1990. In addition to his wife of 28 years, Jim is survived by three daughters, Vanessa Allen of Hornell, Sarah Baldwin of N.C., and Jaimee Baldwin of Wellsville; two sons, Jacob Baldwin of Ogden, Utah and Joshua (Ashley) Baldwin of Wellsville; his mother, Shirley (Stanley) Senack of Clifton Springs; one brother, Mark Baldwin of Wellsville; one sister, Wendy Sands of Buffalo; 10 grandchildren, Blake Geffers, Shelby Geffers, Jarod Allen, Allison Allen, Pamelita Freeman, La’Sanique Freeman, James Baldwin, Skylee Baldwin, Gabrielle Baldwin and Aubrey Baldwin; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Lewis Baldwin. Jim was a big NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhard t. He enjoyed competing in garden tractor pulls. He also enjoyed camping and fishing but mostly he simply cherished spending time with his wife and family. Friends may call on Saturday from 1-4 p.m.at the Baker-Swan Funeral Home, 3256 Riverside Drive in Wellsville. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Rev. Daniel Kenyon of the Wellsville Bible Church, officiating. Burial will follow in North Bingham Cemetery in North Bingham, Pa.
