Will H. Clarke, 46, passed away Monday (Dec. 3, 2018).
Will was born on March 9, 1972 in Wellsville to Wally S. and Genevieve M. (Donnelly) Clarke. He was a 1991 graduate of Andover Central School. He later earned an Associate of Science degree from Everest College in Criminal Investigation. Will worked as a custodian for Andover Central School. He had previously worked as a laborer for various companies, most notably for Friendship Dairy. Will is survived by two sisters, Kathleen (Douglas) McCutcheon of Andover and Hannah Clarke of Stillwater, Okla.; one brother, Benjamin (Denise) Clarke of Andover; his Uncle Jerry and Aunt Linda Clarke and Uncle Max and Aunt Sue Clarke, all of Andover; his Uncle Danny Gerace of Buffalo, his Aunt Jeanne Childs of Slidell, La. and Aunt Debra Ewert of N.C. Additionally he is survived by nieces and nephews, Jesse (Amber) McCutcheon, Savannah Fanton, Garette (Chance Mullen) McCutcheon, Allyson Clarke, Jillian Clarke, Andrew Powell and Hunter Powell; grandnieces and grandnephews Madalin McCutcheon, Macie McCutcheon, Quinn Fanton, Levi Powell, and Ainsley Powell; and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a niece, Maggie Lee Powell in 2014. Will was the guy that would do anything for anybody. He was a great person, wonderful brother, fun loving uncle and a great friend. Some of the fondest memories from his nieces and nephews were the times he took them to Short’s for ice cream. Will enjoyed telling jokes and liked to pull your leg with his tall tales. He enjoyed a good game of Euchre with his Euchre buddies and hanging out with his dog, Tucker. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Andover. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Pastor Mary Nevol of Zion’s Hill Ministries officiating. |
