
Michael B. Parker, 65, passed away on Tuesday (June 23, 2020) at home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Parker was born on July 4, 1954 in Olympia, Wash. to Ralph Lynn and Cidney (Timmons) Parker. He was a 1972 graduate of Alfred-Almond Central School.
Michael worked as a night supervisor for Alpha Beta Grocery in Indio, Calif. for many years.
Mike is survived by a daughter, Cara (Mike) Hetrick of Bullhead City, Ariz.; a son, Dusty (Christina) Parker of Cherry Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Rebecca A. (Herbert) Mitchell of Hornell and Diana Schirmer of Arkport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his best friend, Marty Moses.
Mike loved the solitude of the outdoors. He enjoyed the peacefulness of a long hike and the harmony of nature. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting trips with his dad.
Per his wishes, there will be no prior visitation. A private memorial service will be held on his property at the convenience of the family.
