Jeffery C. Shattuck, 66, passed away Saturday (Jan. 12, 2019) at home due to complications related to his many health conditions.
Mr. Shattuck was born on March 11, 1952 in Brockport to William P. and Pamela (Hancock) Shattuck. He was a 1970 graduate of Brockport High School.
Jeffery is survived by his partner, Rick Schaefer; his son, Justin C. (Anne) Shattuck of Salem, W.V.; his step-father, Denis Bennett of Wellsville; his step-mother, Joan Shattuck of Chili; two sisters, Theresa (Scott Mureddu) Toth-Fleischman of Scio and Pamela A. (Fred Austin) Shattuck of Oramel; one brother, Howard (Robin) Shattuck of Rochester; two grandchildren, Andru G. Shattuck and Jemma C. Shattuck, both of Salem, W.V.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and two very special friends, Jeanie Shattuck-Webb and Tim Gauthier.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Michael Shattuck and Sister-in-Law Carol Shattuck.
Jeffery suffered from many medical conditions and as a result he has been disabled for many years. He lived a simple and quiet life. He loved the company of his cat, Baby. In his younger days he starred and was captain on the Brockport Blue Devils football team wearing jersey #74.
There will be no prior visitation. There will be a graveside service in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Brockport at a date to be determined. Arrangements are under the direction of Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Wellsville.
