Elnora M. “Ann” Pentycofe, 83, passed away Thursday (Aug. 22, 2019) at Rochester General Hospital following a brief illness.
Elnora was born on Nov. 19, 1935 in Tioga County, Pa. to Bernard and Ruth (Griffin) Mosher.
Ann, as she liked to be called, worked many years as a custodian for Irondequoit Central School District.
Ann is survived by a brother, Milton Mosher of Rochester; a brother-in-law, Gary Fuller and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Eldon Mosher and Elery Mosher and a sister, Wilda Fuller.
Ann enjoyed playing BINGO and loved a good game of cards. In her younger days she greatly enjoyed bowling. Ann was quite the jokester and knew how to appreciate a good prank. The family still talks about the time she went home with a bunch of chicken bones in her purse.
There will be a time of visitation on Tuesday from 10 a.m. – Noon at Baker-Swan Funeral Home, 3256 Riverside Drive in Wellsville. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with her nephew Wayne Mosher officiating. Burial will follow in Ackley Cemetery in Sabinsville, Pa.
