Harry Robert
“Bob” Clark, 63, loving husband and father, went to be with his Lord on Sunday
(April 7, 2013), at his home.
The son of Carl
Decater and Helen (VanCampen) Clark, Bob was born on March 30, 1950 in
Wellsville. He graduated in 1968 from Belmont Central School and later served
in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On June 19, 1999, at the Wellsville
Full Gospel Church, he married Sherry K. Alvord , who survives.
Bob worked as a
graphics artist at Air Preheater in Wellsville until 1983, when he was
diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
In addition to
his wife, Sherry, he is survived by a son, Aaron (Joanne Miller) Clark and
grandson Graham, all of Lemoyne. Pa.; a daughter, Hannah (Jon) Wu of Pottstown,
Pa.; a sister, Dorothy Clark Tronetti of Friendship; a brother, Carl V.
“Buster” Clark of Belmont; a stepdaughter, Cindy (Joseph) Hudson; two stepsons,
Kevin Alvord and William (Pamela) Alvord; two step granddaughters; two step
grandsons; and four nephews and a niece.
Bob had an avid
interest in computers and enjoyed working on his adaptive computer equipment.
He also enjoyed gardening.
He was a member
of the Wellsville Full Gospel Church and for many years led a men’s Bible study
in his home up until his death. A new grandfather, his greatest joy was
spending time with family and friends. Bob will be remembered for his gracious
caring nature and a wonderful sense of humor.
Friends will be
received at the Wellsville Full Gospel Church on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and
6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday at 11 a.m.
with Pastor Mason Sorensen, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills
Cemetery in Belmont.
Arrangements are
under the direction of Baker-Swan Funeral Home, 3256 Riverside Drive in
Wellsville.
