I don't know what to do at a funeral service!
| Funeral services can be intimidating for everyone. Most of your instruction will come from the funeral director or clergy. If the funeral director is leading you to a seating section, be prompt in following. Be seated and read the order of service, if there is one. There will be music, a eulogy, a devotional, prayer, and possibly an open sharing time. At the end of the service, the funeral director will then give instructions regarding the procession to the cemetery and the funeral dinner. Visitors will then be given opportunity to greet the family once again as they depart the funeral home. |
