Obituary
ANDOVER - Louise G. Weatherby, 94, went home to be with the Lord Saturday (June 6, 2009) at Wellsville Manor Care Center.

Mrs. Weatherby was born on April 19, 1915 in Hartsville to Roy and Flossie (Nichols) Coleman. She was a graduate of St. James School of Nursing. On Nov. 13, 1953, in Genesee, Pa., she married Thomas C. Weatherby, who predeceased her on April 27, 2003.

In addition to being a homemaker, Louise worked as a nurse for Marys Nursing Home in Wellsville and later as a respiratory therapist for St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell until her retirement in 1975.

Louise is survived by a son, Stephen (Diana) Burton of Andover; three daughters, Reba (Pat) Davis of Dalton, Ga., Kathy (Ted) Foster and Chris (Marty) Wieszczyk, both of Andover; a son-in-law, Kenneth Wyant of Franklinville; a daughter-in-law, Linda Burton of Perkinsville; 24 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Audrey Wyant; three sons, Daniel Burton, Richard Burton and Michael Burton; and a grandson, Martin Jason Wieszczyk.

Louise was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Andover. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, especially something for one of her family. She also liked bowling, camping and traveling, but her greatest enjoyment apart from the Lord was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved them greatly.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Andover. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Andover with Rev. Frank Troutman, officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Andover.

Memorial contributions in Louise's name may be made to First Baptist Church of Andover Steeple Fund, PO Box 775, Andover, NY 14806.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me: Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. - Psalm 23
