Falls to Michael J. and Adeline
(VanSice) Callahan. She was a
1924 graduate of Montour Falls
Central School, a 1928 graduate
of Keuka College and received
her masters degree from Alfred

married Murlyn Kenneth Conde,
who predeceased her on Dec. 4,
1951.
Marco began her teaching
career in 1931 at Cook Academy
in Montour Falls and then
Horseheads Central School and
Odessa Central School. In 1947,
she moved to Andover with her
husband and taught English at
Andover Central School for the
next 27 years until her
retirement in 1973.
Marco is survived by
a son, David F. (Diane) Conde

Marco had three primary joys
in her life. First, she was very active
in the Andover Presbyterian Church.
Second, as a young widow and single
mom, she provided a college education
for her four children. And finally, as a
caring teacher, she poured her
life and energies into the lives
of her students.
There will be no prior
visitation. There will be a memorial
service at a date and time to be
announced later.

When I come to the end of
my journey And I travel my last weary mile, Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned And remember only the smile. Forget unkind words I have spoken; Remember some good I have done, Forget that I ever had a heartache And remember I've had loads of fun. Forget that I have stumbled and blundered And sometimes fell by the way. Remember I have fought some hard battles And won, ere the close of the day, Then forget to grieve for my going, I would not have had you sad for a day, But in summer just gather some flowers And remember the place where I lay, And come in the evening When the sun paints the sky in the west Stand for a few moments beside me And remember only my best.
